Illustrated envelope for the Louisiana Purchase Exposition held in honor of the centennial anniversary of the Louisiana Purchase in St. Louis, Mo., April 30-December 1, 1901. Shows the Palace of Machinery built after the designs of Windman, Walsh & Boisselier. A fountain adorns the grounds across which vistors stroll and sit on benches.
