Description
Print depicting various shapes and sizes of wrought iron sections manufactured at the Pencoyd Iron Works by A. & P. Roberts & Co. Shows the pieces, including even and uneven leg angles and car-builder’s channel irons, labeled with weight and size measurements depicted in horizontal rows and in diagonals. Cousins Algernon and Percival Roberts established the iron foundry in 1852 in Philadelphia. The firm joined the U.S. Steel Company in 1900 and was renamed the American Bridge Company.
