Exterior view showing the Gothic-style Protestant Episcopal church built 1846-1850 after the designs of English architect
G.G. Place on the 3200 block of West Clearfield Street near Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Ecclesiological Society, a British church
architecture society, provided the plans for the church to be recreated in the style of a 13th-century English country parish.

The Langenheim brothers, William and Frederick, were pioneer photographers and stereograph publishers who operated a photographic
studio in Philadelphia from the 1840s to 1874 and the death of William.
