Description
Bust-length, portrait of an African American man facing slightly right. Sitter is attired in a white collared shirt and a dark-colored necktie and jacket. Sitter is probably a member or acquaintance of the Dickerson Family of Philadelphia.
Notes
Title supplied by cataloger.
Date inferred from photographic medium and sitter's attire.
Pad: Red velvet with geometric design in center surrounded by scrolls.
Mat: Oval.
Case: Leather. A small floral spray is within a curlicued border within a modified oval. Scroll work all around. Same design on verso.
