The poems in this collection were clipped from newspapers, except one which is separately printed. All are in English except for 2 in German. Many of the poems are by women. These paper dolls are of two varieties, illustrations carefully cut out to create a separate figure, and hand-made dolls made from available bits of paper. In the first category, we have two frogs, a rat, a floral bouquet, and four people. In the second category, we have three people, two figures on horseback, a horse, and a sun. The horse is made of glossy embossed black paper. Two of the people have separately made clothing. The bookmarks are made of perforated cardboard, often attached to a length of ribbon. The cardboard has been used as a base for needlepoint or embroidery, and one includes bead work. All but one include a text, with one text in Hebrew.
