built 1849-1850 after the designs of Frank Wills, at 4800 Grant Avenue in Torresdale. Several students wear white gowns, possibly
habits.

The Langenheim brothers, William and Frederick, were pioneer photographers and stereograph publishers who operated a photographic
studio in Philadelphia from the 1840s to 1874 and the death of William.
