Description
View of the front facade of the Hall looking south down Congress Place. Building on left of alley is being demolished. The Hall, built between 1770 and 1774 by the Carpenters' Company of the City and County of Philadelphia after designs by member Robert Smith, served as the meeting place for the First Continental Congress in 1774.
