Description
Trade card depicting a scene on a farm. A farmer, sits on a rock, and watches as an agent weighs a horse-drawn cart loaded with hay with a "Fairbanks Standard Scale." In the background, another Fairbanks' agent weighs cows on a platform scale in a pen. View also shows hay stacks in the distance. Fairbanks' Scales was established in 1830.
