Title |
Things left in books collection. Needlework bookmarks, Undated. |
Physical Description |
7 items (in 1 folder) ; 3 x 4 cm to 40 x 9 cm. |
Description |
The bookmarks are made of perforated cardboard, often attached to a length of ribbon. The cardboard has been used as a base
for needlepoint or embroidery, and one includes bead work. All but one include a text, with one text in Hebrew. The perforated
cardboard is blank, which suggests that the bookmarks date from the middle of the 19th century.
