Description
Scene depicting a bearded white man speaking to a crowd outside the campaign headquarters for presidential nominee William McKinley on South Front Street in Philadelphia. The man stands in the large open window of the building, one of four rowhouses, adorned with an American flag, a flag labeled "McKinley League of Philadelphia," and a sign inscribed "For President Maj. Wm. McKinley of Ohio." The large crowd of men, including African Americans, listen attentively. Views of an adjacent import business and the building with signage, "Irwin McBrid[e?]," are visible.
