Encircling the seal is a Latin quote, which translates to "with favor wilt thou compass us as with a shield." The state motto
is on a banner underneath the coat of arms: "Fatti maschii, parole femine," or "Strong deeds, gentle words." An eagle is depicted
above the coat of arms.
