Description Advertisement showing an elegant coach parked in front of the ground floor of "Ogle's. Coach Manufactory" on the 1000 block of Chestnut Street. An African-American coachman stands behind the lively two-horse team hitched to the coach that is adorned with fringe on the drivers' seat, a lamp, and window shades. Two gentlemen converse in the street at the rear wheels of the vehicle and a couple admires if from the sidewalk. The figure of an animated horse adorns the "280" sign displayed above the entrances to the building. Ogle, previously of Ogle & Watson, operated as a sole proprietor from the address 1847-1850.
