Description
View showing a man leaning down to pick something up in the sand dunes in Atlantic City, with the Absecon Lighthouse in the background. The lighthouse, the tallest in New Jersey and the third tallest masonry lighthouse in the United States, was constructed 1854-1857 after designs by George Meade and deactivated in 1933.
