Bust-length, forward facing portrait of an African American woman. Sitter has long, dark hair, parted in the middle, and looped
behind the ears. She is attired in hoop earrings, a white collared chemisette, a dress with polka dots, and a dark-colored
shawl. Sitter is probably a member or acquaintance of the Dickerson Family of Philadelphia.
