Description |
Full-length, forward facing portrait of an unidentified, young, white boy seated on a chair. Sitter has short hair parted
and combed to the left. He is attired in a three-quarter length, checked shirt with gold buttons down the center, pants, white
socks, and lace-up boots. He sits on a wooden chair and holds a book in both hands on his lap. Gilt is applied to the pictorial
detail of the book. His cheeks are tinted pink. In the right background is a side table covered with a dark-colored tablecloth.
