Description |
Racist trade card specimen depicting a caricature of a dancing Black boy. Shows the bare-chested boy, attired in a red, white,
and blue feathered headdress and skirt and gold hoop earrings, necklace, bracelets, and anklets. His feet lift off of the
ground, and he holds his hands up as he dances and smiles. On the ground beside him is a spiked, wooden club. In the background,
green jungle foliage is visible.
