View showing the north side of the 700 block of Chestnut Street. Includes the Washington House hotel (711 Chestnut), the Masonic
Hall (713-721 Chestnut), built 1853-1855 after the designs of Sloan & Stewart and razed by fire in 1886, and Horstmann and
Bros.'s military goods and trimmings store (723 Chestnut Street, 1858 to 1861). Street traffic includes: a horse-drawn cart,
a horse-drawn carriage, and a horse-drawn omnibus.
