Description
Full-length portrait of the acclaimed girl emancipated from enslavement. Depicts Lawrence, attired in a lavish off-the-shoulder dress, seated, and holding a hat adorned with a ribbon and feathers in her lap. She is posed next to a basket and in front of a maritime backdrop. An outstretched drape covers her seat.
