Description
Tradecard containing an exterior view of the saloon and concert hall built 1857 on the 500 block of North Third Street. Male patrons convene at and near the entry as pedestrians, including women, walk past the three-and one-half-story twin building with showcase windows. In the street, a horse-drawn carriage is parked and a "Richmond & Navy Yard/Second & Third St." street car travels. Also shows partial views of adjacent businesses, including a tobacconist. The Ladners operated the hall 1857-1881.
