the case is called Bouquet of Flowers and is plate 134 in American Miniature Case Art by Floyd and Marion Rinhart (Cranbury,
New Jersey: A. S. Barnes and Co., Inc., 1969.) Produced in quantity, ca. 1851. Design copied for one of the first transitional
covers produced in plastic.
