Description
Exterior view of house built near Wissahickon Creek between 1746 and 1752 for Joseph Gorgas, a lumber merchant and third generation resident of Germantown. Constructed on the site of "the Kloster," the log cabin built in 1737 as a community house for the German Dunkards.
