Description |
Exterior views of the Walnut Street Theatre built originally as a circus in 1809, enlarged in 1811 and converted to a theatre
in 1816. Remodeled in 1827-1828 after designs by John Haviland, in 1852 by Hoxie & Button, in 1903 by Willis Gaylord Hale
and in 1904 by Rush Anderson Plowman. Includes an advertisement for "The Girl Rangers" at the Walnut Street Theatre in 1907.
