Avenue, the rear of the U.S. Government Building designed by James H. Windrim, the dome of Memorial Hall designed by Hermann
J. Schwarzman, and the Main Exhibition Building and Machinery Hall designed by Henry Pettit and Joseph M. Wilson. The fair
celebrated the centennial of the United States through an international exhibition of industry, agriculture, and art.
