View showing the businesses at 303 South Second Street at the intersection of Second and Little Dock (i.e., Mattis) streets.
Shows the ramshackle building tenanted by J.T. Wells, clothier; Jacob Reed, clothing rooms; and J. & R. Hattuck, locksmiths
and bell hangers. Includes two gentlemen in top hats conversing on the Little Dock Street side of the building; a freight
car and sign post for a hotel in the right background; and surrounding businesses.
