Notes The 90th Infantry Regiment of the Pennsylvania Volunteers was formed out of the National Guards Regiment of Philadelphia in Aug. 1861 and mustered out Nov. 26, 1864; it joined Gen. Pope's army in the summer of 1862; John T. Durang, Captain of Company A, was wounded at Gettysburg, Pa. July 1, 1863. Cf. S.P. Bates. History of Pennsylvania Volunteers, v. 3, p. 151, and F.H.
