Description |
Series of titled satirical, anti-Irish genre scenes include, "A bully good fellow was he," "May he rest in peace," "The free
for all," and "McCarthy comes back to life". Images depict a group of men, women, and children sitting around a coffin at
a wake where the alcohol is flowing. As the adults continue to drink a fight breaks out, then proceeds to McCarthy's resurrection.
Religious art work hangs on the walls.
