Description
Illustrated trade card die cut and shaped into an eye depicts a traveling R. Newell & Son horse-drawn photographic wagon. The scene is bordered by a sun, filigree, and a camera on a tripod. R. Newell & Son, a partnership between Robert Newell and his son Henry, was active from around 1870 until 1897 and the death of the elder Newell.
